What is Trancam? How To Make It?

Trancam is a kind of vegetables salad with coconut grated sauce. It is originally from Solo, Central Java.

Inggredients




• 3 basil leaves, leaves only

• 3 pieces of cucumber , cut into small pieces

• 10 sticks , long beans , thinly sliced

• 100 grams of cabbage , finely sliced

• 25 grams of petai china ( leed tree)

• 100 grams of sprouts

• 250 grams of grated coconut , steamed

1 bunch of king of salad ( kenikir) Latin name Cosmos caudatus





Ground seasoning



• 4 pieces of red chili sauce

• 3 cloves garlic

• 4 lime leaves

• 1 1/4 teaspoon salt

• 1 red chilies

• 1 teaspoon shrimp paste

• 1 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar

• 2 cm Greater Galingal



How to make trancam



1. Mix the seasoning that has been in the ground along with the grated coconut and steamed , stir until it is completely blended. You can also roast ( fry without oil) the grated coconut if you like

2. Mix all the ingredients of vegetables , then mix with grated coconut that has been marinated , stir well and serve immediately .
